We are almost finished with the first phase of renovating our main website. Changing how we think about the work we offer at Life Works has been challenging and probably long over due. It truly amazes me how quickly we are moving into electronic communication. Where in the past communicating with our world meant typesetting, paper selection, printing, mailing then waiting for the mail to be received has turned into an almost momentary experience.

This fall instead of mailing 2 11x17 sheets of paper in 2 versions crammed with details to everyone on our mailing list we are mailing 2 postcards that we already had - no new trees had to give their lives - with a few lines of copy suggesting that receivers "bookmark our website" and come back to it often. Magically - though it doesn't seem so magical right now - there is now a place where our courses, groups, retreats and Guiding and wisdom live. Much more information than we could fit on dozens 11x17 sheets and available 24/7. to english readers around the world.

My intention here is to deliver to all who read here, regular posts of our material to help us wake up from all that mesmerizes us so we can be more present and authentic in our lives.
