The Armor of Amour — What's Between You and the Love You Want

We all have psychological armor that we have created to protect us from being hurt and having our hearts broken one more time. However, it may also be stopping us from having what we want in our lives such as ease, support, more intimacy, and lasting, reliable, unconditional love. Like a medieval knight, perhaps, in addition to protecting us the armor is weighing us down and could be replaced with more discreet, efficient, modern protection. This evening we will investigate the various styles of armor and see if there are better ways to take care of ourselves. We will talk about replacing what doesn’t work with protection that does…so we can have more of what we want — everyday. Join us to uncover new discoveries and observations on how to live with more satisfaction and ease. This evening is designed to welcome and introduce guests to Life Works as well as deepen, enrich and review focal points of the Workshop for graduates.
These evenings are part of an ongoing occasional seminar series designed to encourage a lively discussion and further investigation into how we can have more of what we want in life. Do join us!

Because we are taking a break as we have offered a Seminar on the second Wednesday evening almost every month since 1987, right after we began the Having What You Want With a Man course. The original Graduates asked if we could offer a monthly opportunity to refresh what they learned in that weekend. Twenty-one years later thousands of women have shifted their relationships and are leading more fulfilled, easy, graceful lives as a result of their work at Life Works. Over the years many Graduates have introduced friends to our work by bringing them as guests.
