NewsWe've moved!After 16 years, in mid-December, we moved our offices from 55 Fifth Avenue to just down the street. Marilyn moved into a new office just around the corner from her home in the first block of Fifth Avenue, at the Washington Square Arch. The new address is 31 Washington Square West (MacDougal south of Waverly), where we will do small groups and Marilyn will see clients. When we need a larger space we will we will find a larger space to use. Conveniently, we are across the street to one of New York's most civilized parks while still near major transportation. We understand and teach that change is a complicated issue and intend you join us in our new spaces for a course, group or session this spring. Like so many other small businesses, it was time to lower our costs so that we could continue to offer courses and groups. Telephone numbers remain the same. Our Guidesses continue to work over the telephone as well as from their own, independent, new offices. They continue to be supervised by Marilyn and you are invited to call her if you are interested in Guiding with one of our Life Works experts. She will match you up with the right "woman of wisdom" all of whom still offer reasonable rates for 45 minute sessions. And finally, we created what is now Life Works soon to be 30 years ago. Our goal and intention has always been to serve women in the huge evolutionary shift that is taking place in our midst. Equal job opportunities and equal pay are closer to reality than when we began. The Mother Retreat will be offered the weekend of May 19–22 at Wainwright House in Rye where we have offered our retreats for over 10 years. Please let us know if you are interested in being present for this HUGE piece of work that no one else appears to offer. Incredibly liberating to have a mother but to be your self, for perhaps the first time in you life. The Natural Power of Bring a Woman — The Gathering - Spring trimester begins Monday and Tuesday, June 13 & 14. We began this ongoing group in 1989 at the request of Graduates to have a weekly place to be reminded of all they have learned and practice being their authentic selves. A great deal of what one needs in life and in relationships is clarity of purpose, cheering for life's accomplishments, the positive support of other women and the ability to dream and focus on the future as you will likely be the future-bringer in your life.
